Michael is holding a diploma engineer degree (Dipl.-Ing.) of the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe in the field of Cartography.

Michael started his professional career as a Technical Project Manager with Bertelsmann (Random House) Cartography. He left Bertelsmann after 10 years as Deputy Head of Production Department.

At Ganske Publishing Group, a privately owned publishing company based in Hamburg, Germany, Michael hold various director positions.

As a Director Sales of TrustYou GmbH he is now responsible for the destination marketing organization market as well as for their strategic partnerships.

Michael is the current President of the German Association of Cartographic Publishers (VKViD) and a member of the jury of the Bavarian Innovation Price for Tourism Michael was brought up in multi national environment. He is married and has two children. He is living close to the city of Rosenheim in southeast Bavaria.
